Sead Dizdarevic, already a seasoned travel and hospitality executive, founded Jet Set Sports in 1975 to focus on the opportunity unfolding at the 1984 Olympic Winter Games in his native Sarajevo. Motivated by a desire to introduce new corporate clients and sport organizations to the beauty and charm of his country, he fashioned an Olympic Games Hospitality Program of unprecedented thoroughness. His passion for Sarajevo, his affection for the Olympic Games and his drive to demonstrate the excellence of Jet Set Sports’ services yielded a magnificent hospitality experience and established an admirable international reputation for his New Jersey based company.
Since that illustrious beginning, Dizdarevic has continually sought to refine and improve his corporate hospitality services by linking them more directly with the sports marketing objectives of his corporate clients. To serve their needs, he has transformed his company to suit the specific demands of each Olympiad: building and reconstructing hotels and restaurants when necessary; taking over the management of hotels, apartments, and condominiums; establishing relationships with the finest restaurants and corporate hospitality venues; chartering jets and cruise ships; and cultivating relationships with an invaluable network of more than two dozen National Olympic Committees and the National Governing Bodies of various sports.
Since 2000, Jet Set Sports has been a Proud Sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team and have announced a sponsorship agreement that extends Jet Set Sports’ partnership through 2012. Additionally, Jet Set Sports was the Official Hospitality Services Provider of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, the Official Hospitality Operator of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, Official Sponsor of the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
