Q. How do I search and explore current position openings?
A. All current position openings are listed on our Employment page in the Staff Positions Section. Please note that due to business requirements, the availability of some positions may change, however your application would be reviewed for all suitable positions.

Q. Why is an email address required?
A.Due to a high volume of applicants, email may be used to contact you regarding the status of your application. Please provide an email address you check regularly. This is our best means to communicate with you. Note: you should add employment@jetsetsports.com to your safe recipients email list. Also check your junk mailbox regularly.

Q. I’d like to personalize my cover letter to the appropriate individual. How can I find out his or her name?
A. It’s not necessary to address a cover letter to a specific individual. Various recruiters and hiring managers may be working with your application to find the best fit for you. You can address the cover letter to: The Staffing Manager, The Staffing Team.

Q. How do I upload a cover letter to my application?
A. To do this, you must complete and submit your application details; you will then be taken to the next step, where you will be required to upload your cover letter and your CV/resume (ENGLISH ONLY) . There will be the option to browse your desktop or personal folders for your file, then the option to select the correct file and upload the document. The accepted file format is Adobe PDF.

Q. What format should my cover letter and CV/resume be in?
A. You will need to save your CV/resume and Cover letter to your desktop or file Adobe PDF format (ENGLISH ONLY). Once you have saved them to your desktop or file in this format you will be able to upload them to your application.

Q. How do I know I submitted an application successfully?
A. A prompt message will post at the end of the online application process, stating “You have successfully submitted your position application. Thank you for your interest in Jet Set Sports.” Additionally, an email will be sent to your email account and indicate receipt of your application. Should you note receive an email, please check your ‘junk mailbox’, as in the past we have found that some auto-responses are received in the ‘junk mailbox’. It is recommended you register the sender @jetsetsports.com as a ‘Safe Sender’.

Q. Can I apply to more than one position opportunity at a time?
A. Yes, in your application you select up to two positions that you are interested in. Please note we do reserve the right, if you are successful, to place you in a position that is better suited to a specific position. This would be discussed with you during the interviews and/or training process.

Q. I applied online and have not received feedback. What’s the status?
A. To confirm that your application has been submitted you will receive a “receipt of application” email. Please check your ‘junk email’ box, as in past experience we have found that some emails do end up in this location. Should you still not have received confirmation please email employment@jetsetsports.com you’re your full name and date of application. Due to the high volume of applicants, we will only be contacting successful applicants to invite them to interview with us. Please note the application and interview process will occur over a number of months, due to the volume of applications.

Q. How will I be contacted if I’m considered for a position?
A. A Staffing Team representative will contact you by telephone or email with more information about the position and next steps in the application process.

Q. How will I be notified if I’m not considered for a position?
A. You will receive an email stating that your application has not been successful. Based on the anticipated volume only candidates of interest will be contacted.

Q. What should I bring to my interview?
A. All candidates should bring an updated copy of their resume/CV and any other information that would assist the recruiter in evaluating competencies for the position of interest.

Q. Is there an interview dress code?
A. The company is judged in large part by the people who work for it. For this reason, it’s important that employees maintain a neat appearance and proper hygiene. During the Event Period you will be required to wear your uniform that is provided to you, prior to the start of the event. Outside of the Event Period, our dress code is business casual.

Q. Is there an orientation program?
A. For Local Staff they will attend an Orientation session as part of their training academy experience. For non-local staff as part of their Games-Time Employment they will attend an orientation session by phone or webinar and again in the Host City at a scheduled date shortly after the commencement of their employment.

Q. Is there training I am required to participate in?
A. For Local Staff they will attend a number of training sessions over a 6 month period before the start of their Employment Period. All non-local staff will be assumed to have professionally prepared themselves for their Games-Time employment. A series of training modules will be available to them for study prior to their arrival in the Host City. All staff will be required to attend All Staff Training which commences just prior to the start of the Olympic Games.
